Respiratory problems lead to the affection in the part of the lungs. Most of the problems related to lungs mainly occur because of smoking cigarette and other harmful drugs. Recent surveys have concluded that persons getting exposed to the cigarette smoke also are at a high risk of cancer and other respiratory problems. Certain governments have taken strict action to ban smoking in public places because of these types of problems to the common public. People become addicts of smoking and there are serial smokers who will smoke a lot of cigarettes in a single day. As the days progress, the lungs become filled with smoke resulting in severe respiratory problems and cough related diseases. In several cases, even death occurs as a result of the lung diseases. The classrooms have become digital and the professors mostly use the power point presentations to take classes to the students. The college students conduct rallies to create awareness among the public about the adverse effects of smoking. Also the college student's advice the people not to smoke in the public places like the roads, bus stops etc as this will affect the other people standing near by who inhale the cigarette smoke. As a result they also get respiratory problems. A lot of conferences and seminars are organized by the medical colleges on the importance of the respiratory system to the human body and the various respiratory problems that occur as a result of smoking. The tobacco contents are very harmful to the human body especially to the lungs.
